Position #: 00693480 – Requisition #: 33235Job Summary:The Department of Economics at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor position starting in the fall semester of 2024. The workload includes teaching of 7 Economic courses per year (70%), research/scholarly activities (20%), and service (10%) to be determined in consultation with the department chair. The duration of the position is one year with possibility of renewal (full-time and full year) depending upon funding and satisfactory performance.The position is based in Denver, CO and requires the individual to travel internationally to Beijing, China to teach at the International College in Beijing for the 12-week fall semester. During the alternate spring semester, the individual will teach in-person on the CU Denver campus in Denver.Candidates should have at least a Ph.D. in Economics by August 2024.
