Join Our Team at Palmetto Woods!Are you a skilled handyman with carpentry experience looking for a seasonal work? Palmetto Woods, a family-owned mobile home community just a mile from Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, SC, seeking a seasonal Maintenance Technician.What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in maintenance, particularly with trailers or manufactured homes.
  • Skills: Strong carpentry, roof repairs, painting, and flooring installation. Basic plumbing, electrical and/or HVAC knowledge is a plus.
  • Computer Savvy: Ability to track inventory and work progress digitally.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills and a focus on customer service.
Your Qualities:
  • Team player with a can-do attitude
  • Professional work ethic and commitment to safety
  • Willingness to learn new techniques for the manufactured home industry
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have your own truck and tools
Schedule:
  • Availability for weekend and after-hour emergencies is essential.
