We are dedicated to protecting people, assets, and the Robinhood brand while maintaining operational resilience across all environments.We're looking for a Physical Security Operations (PSO) Lead to drive the effectiveness, development, and deployment of our onsite guard force operations. In this critical role, you'll take a hands-on approach to shape and implement security policies, coordinate event security strategy, handle budgets, conduct facility risk assessments, and lead training initiatives for the Physical Security Operations team. You'll play a key part in helping Robinhood prevent, respond to, and recover from security incidents-protecting both our people and our spaces.This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected 5 days per week.At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Manage daily operations for an expanding international and domestic contracted physical security guard force
Draft, review, and put into effect policies for the safety and protection of our global operations
Develop, implement, and be responsible for formal training programs for security officer roles including, standard operating procedures, incident response protocols, communication plans, etc.
Work closely with team members across different areas to set up security protocols for future office expansions
Display unwavering dedication to upholding the highest ethical standards, demonstrating a track record in managing highly confidential and sensitive information
Develop and implement an event security program for large international marketing events/product launches and also manage internal employee events. Develop event security plan frameworks alongside key partners.
Be responsible for facility risk assessments and propose key risk-management actions
Coordinate efforts with cross-functional partners on projects including the response to security concerns
Participate as a key member of the Crisis Management Program supporting incident response plans, emergency action plans, and more
Deliver core security solutions, alternatives and recommendations in support of Executives
What you bring
Demonstrated ability in a corporate security operations leadership role
5+ years of vendor management experience
Experience planning, leading and delivering advanced global protective strategies
Experience with residential security systems and operations
Familiarity with security program automation and implementation
Ability to travel between offices regionally and globally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working autonomously, and navigate ambiguity with ease
Experience building and scaling operations in a high-growth, rapidly adapting environment
Experience managing, coaching, and retaining talent
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and emotional intelligence
Experience in change management, administration, and vendor management
