- Safety & Team Coordination:
- Prioritize personal safety and the safety of team members
- Empowered to act and stop work if unsafe conditions are observed
- Organize work area on a continual basis in order to maintain a safe, efficient, productive and clean work environment
- Machine Operations:
- Setup, operate, troubleshoot, adjust settings, and maintain machinery processes while ensuring a quality output
- Conduct visual inspections of machinery and perform general preventive maintenance
- Perform necessary documentation, data entry, and inventory
- Operate a forklift to move and transport materials as needed
- Communicate changes in production and/or quality to department lead, and submit work orders to maintenance when necessary
- Training & Cross-Training:
- Participate in regular training sessions and cross train into other job functions to provide assistance to other departments when needed
- Cross train others to enhance team capabilities
- High school diploma, GED, or 4+ years of experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment a plus
- Proven ability to multitask in a stressful environment (dirty, confined spaces, strict timelines, etc.), attention to detail, and adapt to changing demands
- Forklift experience a plus
- Ability to read and understand units of measure and perform basic math functions
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
