As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking a talented and experienced Consulting Manager with expertise in Data Warehousing, Azure, and ETL to lead and manage our data-centric projects.Job Description: As a Consulting Manager – Data Warehousing, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing data-related consulting engagements for our clients. You will leverage your expertise in Azure and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) to design and implement scalable and efficient data warehousing solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality and impactful solutions.Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end data warehousing projects, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation and deployment.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, data needs, and technical requirements.
  • Design and develop scalable data warehousing architectures utilizing Azure services and technologies.
  • Oversee the ETL processes, ensuring data quality, transformation, and loading into the data warehouse.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of data engineers and developers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization activities to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data warehousing, Azure, and ETL technologies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic recommendations and insights.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing data warehousing projects, preferably in a consulting or client-facing role.
  • Strong expertise in Azure data services, including Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake.
  • In-depth knowledge of ETL processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Experience with data modeling and schema design for data warehousing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications in Azure data services (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate).
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
