- Coordinate and participate in a variety of technical procedures to include in vivo and in vitro studies; operate radiation detection and measurement instrumentation including stationary imaging devices, scintillation gamma and apparatus for in vitro counting
- Calibrate and draw up radiopharmaceutical materials for administration to patients; formulate radiopharmaceutical materials from pre-prepared kits
- Process computerized image data to include function curves and reconstructed SPECT images
- Perform Nuclear Cardiology studies including image acquisition, processing and monitoring patient vital signs. Perform EKG prep, tracing and monitors for obvious change during cardiac studies
- May rotate shifts or be in an “on call” status as needed or directed by the organization
- Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program
- RTN or CNMT
