- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community outreach programs to promote agricultural science education.
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science, Animal Science, Plant Science, or a related field. A master's or doctoral degree is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in either animal or plant science, including genetics, nutrition, physiology, breeding, pathology, or other relevant areas.
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience in agricultural science at the secondary or post-secondary level.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to students of varying levels of knowledge.
- Passion for agriculture and the ability to inspire and motivate students to explore careers in the field.
- Proficiency in instructional technology and the ability to integrate digital resources into teaching practices.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work well with colleagues, administrators, and parents.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and respects students' individual needs and backgrounds.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to agricultural science education.
