This Suppler Quality Engineer will be tasked with maintaining smooth operations at equipment and material supplier facilities to ensure the highest quality parts and components are being used for production.   • Responsible for investigating, analyzing, and solving issues in quality, production and control at a supplier facilities.
  • Perform video calls, inspections and supplier audits to ensure alignment with requirements
  • Creates associated reports for both general QMS and special processes.
  • Participates in supplier selection and provides approvals when auditing new suppliers and/or special process suppliers.
  • Acts as an active member on the project teams, representing sourcing/procurement and interfaces and collaborates closely with other departments to achieve project goals
  • Performs weekly MRB (Material Review Board) to drive non-conformances (NCR) to closure.
  • Creates/reviews MQRs (material quality reports), shares reports with suppliers, and drives corrective action to prevent repeat issues on future deliveries
  • Participates/assists with receiving inspection area management
  • Works within the company ERP system
We're actively looking for very detail-oriented Supplier Quality Engineers with the following background profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Procurement, or related field required or equivalent experience in a US military branch
  • At least 5+ years of professional experience within a relevant supply chain function in a manufacturing environment
  • Possess an understanding for RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) Analysis
  • Strong skills in supplier and customer relations as well as management
  • Microsoft Software suite, specifically Excel knowledge is a must
