We are looking for world-class talent for this position to join the 75+ year tradition of creating advanced aircraft.The individual is responsible for management of the ADP System Design team. The manager will be required to support a large team 20+ individuals deployed across many ADP efforts while balancing direct tasking to maintain a roughly 50/50 leadership and technical split.The position will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interface effectively with all levels of program management, the customer, other IPTs, and their managed team.Supervisory duties will include process definition and compliance, performance management, training, and career planning for team members. Administrative duties could include project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.Knowledge of tactical fighter aircraft design and operations as well as experience leading a team is desired. Previous system design experience is preferred, and knowledge of object-oriented concepts and the use of the UML and/or SYSML are desired.**Must be a US Citizen.   • Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science (STEM)
  • Final Secret Clearance investigation within the last 5 years
  • Experience in Systems Design and Requirements
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Team leadership experience
Desired skills
  • Exceptional communication and expectation setting skills with LM and customer executive level personnel, colleagues and team members
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools
  • Experience with Cameo/MagicDraw
  • Experience staffing and resource allocation
