- Effective management of supplier relationships and strategic direction of partners and suppliers, which includes being accountable for managing issues that require escalation, conflict resolution, driving and improving in-contract supplier performance, and reporting out on KPIs to procurement.
- Lead complex negotiations through planning, performing cost analysis by creating total cost or acquisition/ product cost lifecycle models, drafting of contracts and creating business cases to maximize the value proposition across all major categories.
- Responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining relevant integrated commodity/category supplier strategies that have a clear vision and a strategic framework for the designated supply chain(s) which requires understanding of the commodity landscape, associated risks, and ability to conduct long term planning.
- Manage the identification, assessment, and mitigation of commercial risks within the supply chain to ensure continuity and resilience.
- Manage & lead a team of buyer(s) to excel in their strategic tasks by fostering skill development and achieving superior outcomes for the business
- Associate degree with 7+ years of buyer or commodity manager experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of buyer or commodity manager experience, OR
- Master’s degree with 3+ years of buyer or commodity manager experience, OR
- JD/PhD, OR
- 9+ years of buyer or commodity manager experience in lieu of a degree
- In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
- Indirect procurement experience
