Our Summer Sales Internship Program combines hands-on learning with exposure to multiple areas of business. Interns are assigned mentors to guide them through their journey at Pacific Life. Interns will gain real-world experience, practical application and skill development at a company known for its legacy, innovation, strength and a vision for the future.If you’re passionate about Financial Services, you’re exactly who we’re seeking. Technical capabilities aside, if you’re a mission-driven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and you’re looking to do work that really matters, you’re a perfect fit for our team.What You’ll DoYou will have an opportunity to learn about wholesaling from the inside, supporting Internal and External Wholesalers in running their daily business through:
  • Sending marketing materials to financial advisors to help them better understand Pacific Life’s products and services
  • Compiling, reviewing, and organizing vital data to help Internal Wholesalers follow up on business leads
  • Maintaining the database of financial advisors with current contact and business information
  • Contacting financial advisors to promote continuing education opportunities
  • Working on projects that allow you to collaborate with other interns and employees across several departments
  • Gaining industry knowledge and developing impactful presentation skills
  • Developing your network and creating your brand for future opportunities in the industry
  • Opportunities to meet with Senior Leadership
Factors for Success
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Salesforce
The base pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.Paid housing available if primary residence is outside of 50 mile radius from office location.Recruiting Timeline
