- Responsible for contract/agreement development and negotiations of travel related spend to include, airlines, hotels, car agencies, ground transportation. Responsible for implementing and monitoring compliance with agreed upon contracts.
- Manage global travel management team.
- Monitor travel and expense related policy and recommend strategies to improve policy and compliance.
- Oversight of the corporate travel agency including all operational issues.
- Establish and conduct RFP, RFI processes, supplier evaluations and selection, account management and supplier performance reviews.
- Benchmark, analyze, monitor and report on travel expenditures and provide regular reporting to executives.
- Provide strategic sourcing and payment support for all travel-related initiatives including meetings and events.
- Work with travel managers to:
- Understand and anticipate employee needs and travel preferences.
- Respond quickly and proactively to travel requests.
- Resolve complaints.
- Track location of traveling employees in case of emergency.
- Evaluate company perks and distribute as necessary. (i.e., airline/car status, hotel points, etc.).
- Responsible for all travel related communications to the company.
- Maintain industry certifications by attending annual conventions or local meetings, as necessary.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience managing corporate travel programs, negotiating vendor contracts, and/or creating global travel policies
- Ability to align to east coast working hours
- Ability to travel to FTI Office(s) as needed

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with corporate travel and purchasing card programs
- Proficient in MS Office programs
- Proven effective cross-functional business team experience
- Experience in negotiating travel (air, hotel & car) vendor contracts
- Travel industry certification (GBTA, ACTE, Sabre, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of corporate business travel practices and marketplace with relevant experience related to identifying, implementing and managing a third party travel administrator(s) in a global environment
- Extensive knowledge of strategic sourcing principles, theories and processes
- Extensive knowledge of conference & event program design, sourcing, and contracting
- Ability to work on a range of business travel problems and provide high quality and/or innovative solutions
- Strong project management, process development and data modeling/analysis skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to effect strategic direction
