The Water Spider in Cable Tray is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and components to the production line, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This role supports the production team by maintaining a steady supply of materials, reducing downtime, and contributing to a safe and high-quality work environment. Ensure timely delivery of materials and components to the production line. Proactively monitor inventory levels and replenish materials as needed. Organize, identify, and package finished goods from the lines to Shipping. Independently execute tasks and proactively manage job responsibilities. Rotate with cable tray riggers as needed. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and work areas. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately. Inspect materials and components for quality before delivery to the production line. Ensure that all materials meet the required specifications and standards. Report any quality issues to the quality control team. Additional duties as assigned. Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates who currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered Knowledge of SAP inventory transactions and MS office suite Worked previously in Cable Tray and know different types of components of the product. Working knowledge of establishing and maintaining kanban levels. Position Criteria: Demonstrate leadership, communication and writing skills. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions. Self-starter, motivated, possess good teamwork skills and work with minimal supervision, excellent attendance, and punctuality. Committed to continuous learning and improvement. Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 100 lbs. occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending. Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities. Strong organizational skills. Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate. Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business. Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks. Ability to complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. Ability with sufficient notice to operate under a flexible working schedules for short periods of time as required by the business.
