The Field Technician will work in a fast-paced and diverse environment with opportunities for career growth, training, and leadership. This role supports electric distribution projects and data maintenance while collaborating with teammates, clients, and stakeholders.Pay - $22.00/HRResponsibilitiesUse GIS/CAD software to support electric distribution projects and data maintenance for higher complexity and priority projectsReference as-builts, work management logs, and other documentation to update GIS data to reflect electric distribution construction completed in the fieldIdentify data inconsistencies and communicate with the appropriate resources to provide accurate data updates to client systemsObtain and manipulate GIS data at state and municipality levelParticipate and collaborate in meetings with teammates, clients, and other stakeholdersWork in an Agile team environment where collaboration and feedback are essential to producing high-quality workComplete engineering design work and provide deliverables to clientSupport storm response work as neededRequirementsHS Diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of relevant experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to work outside as this position is primarily field work; overnight travel may be required (10-20%)Ability to work in outdoor environments and perform field data collectionAbility to utilize personal vehicleProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook)Knowledge of Utility Client Standards preferredExperience with GIS software such as Small World, Esri Suite (ArcMap, ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcIMS, ArcWeb services, ArcGIS Server), or QGIS preferredExperience with CAD software such as Bentley Systems (MicroStation), Autodesk (AutoCAD, Maya, Civil 3D) preferredWe thank all applicants for their interest.
