DescriptionJob Description: Chaperone PositionLocation: New York, NYWe are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Chaperones. Chaperones play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children under their care, escorting them to and from school and all scheduled appointments.Responsibilities:
  • Escort children to and from school and appointments.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
  • Provide nurturing guidance and demonstrate patience while on duty.
  • Have experience working with at-risk children who are in vulnerable stages of life.
Educational Requirements:
  • High school diploma with at least 2 years of experience.
  • OR completed at least two (2) years of full-time satisfactory experience working at a nursery school or primary school or with youth in a residential setting.
  • BA degree with at least 1 year of the above experience.
Training Requirements (2 week training program)
  • Attend and participate in provided trainings, including:
  • Safe Crisis Management (SCM) Training: Comprehensive program focused on crisis prevention and management with a trauma-sensitive approach.
  • CORE Training: 8-day onboarding program for new staff working with children.
  • Transportation Safety Training: Guidelines on safety protocols for transporting children in Agency-operated vehicles.
