Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret ClearanceWhere you make an impact: For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Model-Based Systems Engineer. This exciting position will have the chance to work on just about any aspect there is as it pertains to supporting NAVWAR’s Systems of Systems engineering competency and Technical/Certification Authority. You will help ensure the capabilities delivered to the Fleet are technically sound, resilient, interoperable, and compliant with DoD and DON policy, requirements, architectures, and standards.What does this mean to you? We are seeking expertise in MBSE and systems analysis such as:
  • Ability to apply modeling to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation across the acquisition lifecycle
  • Skill in producing reports and artifacts to support NAVWAR engineering and certification activities
  • Experience coordinating information and resources to meet digital engineering objectives
  • Familiarity with SysML/UML and MBSE tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or similar
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field

The annual salary range for this position starts at $70,000 and goes up based on your qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and have fringe benefits offered throughout the year. The benefits package value ranges from $13,000 for a single employee, and up to $28,000 for an employee and their family.
