Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job DescriptionJoin a dynamic team in Columbus, IN as a Controls Engineer with a focus on manufacturing motor vehicle parts and accessories, primarily aluminum alloy wheels. This role involves optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing product quality, and driving innovation in aluminum wheel production.Responsibilities
  • Design, program, and oversee the installation of machines and processes.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Build, program, or purchase necessary components for production.
  • Plan project details and communicate with other departments to ensure success.
  • Support control systems plant-wide for new equipment.
Essential Skills
  • Associate's Degree in engineering.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with CAD design, including plant layout and custom machine design.
  • Familiarity with Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Allen Bradley systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Cognex and Keyence Vision Systems.
