You will be responsible for key accounting and reporting tasks, including external reporting and U.S. GAAP research and application. Key Job Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate preparation and filing of the Company’s quarterly and annual SEC filings, including review and maintenance of XBRL.Participate in drafting and reviewing quarterly earnings release and investor teleconference materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency across related content, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Prepare quarterly and ad hoc materials for the Board of Directors and its Committees, highlighting the financial statements, SEC disclosures, and other accounting and financial topics relevant to oversight and decision-making.Manage the Company’s Wdesk environment by evaluating and implementing new features and process enhancements, while serving as the primary liaison between Air Products and Workiva to ensure optimal platform functionality and support.Assist in review of complex business transactions, including performance of technical accounting research, preparation of internal documentation and communication to cross functional stakeholders, as well as creation of external disclosure proposals that comply with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.Assist with special projects, including review and implementation of recent accounting pronouncements, new SEC rules, and emerging regulatory developments.Support execution and sufficient documentation of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 controls, including evaluation of effectiveness and remediation tracking.Act as a liaison with external auditors to provide timely support for quarterly review and annual audit procedures, ensuring all requests are met with accurate, well-organized, and high-quality deliverables.Minimum Hiring Requirements:2 - 4 years of accounting or financial reporting work experience is required.Proficiency in researching and applying U.S. GAAP is required.Big 4 public accounting and/or SEC reporting experience is preferred but is not required.A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.CPA is preferred but is not required.A high school diploma or GED is required.Experience using Wdesk, SAP, and/or BPC is preferred but is not required.#LI-Onsite#LI-CH1#INDCORJoin Air Products, where we proudly value the skills, dedication, and leadership that Veterans bring to the table.
