OverviewABOUT THE POSITIONVHB’s Hauppauge, NY office is seeking a Transportation Intern to work on engineering programs and learn technical skills and computational software.Responsibilities
  • Effectively interact with numerous VHB staff, clients, and consultants to advance projects in a timely manner
  • Perform engineering calculations
  • Perform site visits/field data collection
  • Assist with Preliminary and final design plans
  • Assist with contract documents, including specifications
  • Completion of engineer’s estimates
  • Prepare construction documents
Skills and Attributes
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to independently manager multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering
Hiring Salary Range - $19/hr - $26/hr. However, the final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, and experience.We are VHB!
