- Ensure appropriate ergonomics are being considered and used in a particular application.
- Assess the environmental impact of potential projects.
- Ensure proper documents are being developed and archived for a project.
- Oversee appropriation requests.
- Oversee acquisition of new equipment or the improvement of existing equipment
- Oversee a preventive maintenance program.
- Coordinate a process realignment.
- Oversee equipment troubleshooting.
- Oversee process improvement or cost reduction efforts.
- Coordinate capital improvements.
- Project manage engineering initiatives.
- Candidate will provide engineering services for less complex technical problems and recommend a course of action. Candidate will provide engineering services for more complex problems under direct guidance of higher-level engineering personnel.
- Take an active part in the planning and execution of engineering projects
- Originate bid and purchase specifications for equipment and installations, evaluate proposals, prepare purchase requisitions and contracts for approval by higher-level engineering personnel
- Manage project work, resolve problems with advice from others and manage to schedule and within budget
- Assist Sr. Engineers on project start-up, check-out, trouble shoot trial operation
- Provide project status reports, close-out reports, operations and maintenance data as required
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Ceramic/Materials Science) required. Ideal candidate will also demonstrate:
- Completed at least Sophomore year of undergraduate course work and enrolled in Engineering major.
