Requirements:Division: Community HealthJOB SUMMARY: This position develops, implements, and evaluates informational, educational, and training programs for Department staff, health professionals, general public and volunteers as well as identified target populations.SALARY: $26.97/hourHOURS: 37.5 hours per weekJOB FUNCTION: Develops and implements educational and training initiatives between the Chronic Disease Program and Emergency Preparedness and Response Program. Develops and implements community health prevention and educational initiatives related to chronic disease prevention, diabetes education and emergency preparedness awareness and education. Collaborates with outside agencies, organizations, schools and businesses to coordinate exercises, update plans, and implement initiatives. Coordinates assigned grant(s) and program activities and outreach. Promotes, coordinates and implements community health screening services.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in emergency preparedness, community health, health education or related field. Safe driving record with valid and current Illinois driver's license.BENEFITS:
