WMBB News 13 (Nexstar Media Group) is seeking a passionate and talented Creative Services Producer to join our creative team. This position is ideal for a skilled videographer, editor, and storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.This is not an entry-level position. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit an online reel or portfolio of recent work to be considered.The Creative Services Producer operates television or video cameras to record images or scenes for commercial and promotional spots and operates editing equipment to produce images or scenes for commercial and promotional spots.
  • Write, produce, direct, shoot, and edit content for commercials, promotions, and digital platforms
  • Operate cameras and lighting for studio and field production
  • Shoot video for lifestyle shows, interviews, and community event coverage
  • Organize and edit raw footage into polished, story-driven content
  • Collaborate with creative staff, sales teams, clients, and community partners
  • Maintain production schedules and meet all project deadlines
  • Proficiently operate Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
  • Set up and manage shoots including talent, locations, and equipment needs
  • Handle post-production, including color correction, graphics integration, and audio mixing
  • Maintain and organize video and editing equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills:
  • 2+ years of professional or academic experience in video production
  • Proficiency with professional video equipment and non-linear editing systems
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition)
  • Strong writing/storytelling skills and attention to visual detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
Preferred:
  • Broadcast or agency production experience
  • Experience with Ross Xpression, OBS, or similar broadcast software
  • Familiarity with TV and digital aspect ratios, codecs, and file formats
Additional Information * Occasional evening, weekend, or early morning work may be required
  • Travel for shoots or community events
  • This is a full-time, on-site position
