Job Summary:The General Laborer – Asphalt Paving will be responsible for a variety of tasks in the asphalt paving industry. The General Laborer is a full-time, seasonal position that requires travel with overtime through peak season, reports to the Foreman, and has no supervisory responsibility.For more information regarding this position, contact Tim Wentz at 307-281-0007.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of tasks in the asphalt paving industry.
  • Operate tools and equipment as needed.
  • Lift heavy objects, maintain, repair, and clean equipment.
  • Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours).
Position Requirements:
  • Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.
  • Basic maintenance skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of general construction and operating equipment.
  • Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal.
  • Dependability and reliability by showing up to scheduled shifts on time and being prepared for work.
  • Continuous exposure to weather elements including heat, cold, noise, dusty conditions, and working outdoors.
