
Project Engineer

- Lead the planning and execution of midstream infrastructure projects (oil/gas/water pipelines, salt water disposal facilities, compressor facilities, oil stations)
- Coordinate schedules, resources, third-party contractors, and field personnel to meet project milestones
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for new pipeline build-outs and expansions
- Perform hydraulic analysis to support optimal pipeline design and operation
- Track budgets across active projects by monitoring service/material costs, flagging overruns, and pushing corrective actions to keep projects on target
- Track and manage project documentation, including drawings, permits, vendor submittals, and field reports
- Communicate regularly with third-party contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project status updates and reporting tools
- Support safety compliance and ensure adherence to operational standards
- Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations governing oil and gas pipelines
- Oversee daily pipeline operations, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with operations personnel
- Collaborate with management to provide regular updates on project status, costs, and performance
- Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to project teams
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university
- In-depth knowledge of pipeline design, hydraulics, and operations
- In-depth knowledge of O&G facilities (compressor stations, salt water disposal facilities, oil terminals)
- Strong understanding of oil and gas pipeline regulatory requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Proven project management and execution experience
- Demonstrates solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Self-sufficient, disciplined, and able to stay focused without hands-on management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to travel as required (estimated 20%)
