Number13445SharemoreRohde & Schwarz North America is seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Senior Manager of Quality Assurance to lead our Quality Assurance Department. This position demands effective collaboration with service, production, engineering, and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who leverages data and analysis to inform decision-making. They will also be a dynamic leader skilled in implementing solutions within a fast-paced, evolving environment. This individual will play a crucial role in enhancing our Quality Management System and driving Quality Improvement initiatives at RSNA. This position is based either in our North American headquarters facility in Columbia, Maryland or at our Production and Integration Center in Coppell, TX.Your tasks
  • Maintain and develop the quality management system.
  • Accountable for ISO/AS certifications.
  • Manage the corrective action system, and lead in root cause problem solving.
  • Manage the internal audit program, conduct internal and external audits, and train internal auditors.
  • Develop, review, and approve procedure documents and management system changes to ensure compliance with ISO/AS standards.
  • Support development of new business proposals
  • Develop and manage departmental budget.
  • Develop Quality training materials.
  • Conduct/coordinate management review meetings.
  • Review, select, and approve suppliers in conjunction with Procurement.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of staff members.
  • Respond to customer complaints, quality system questions, and surveys.
  • Quality SME support for other RSNA departments, functions, and/or personnel.
  • Liaise with international counterparts.

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline plus 15 years relevant experience in Radio Frequency Technologies' Manufacturing, Product Support, or Maintenance
  • Minimum of 7 years quality management experience in a managerial role
  • Minimum of 5 years Aerospace and Defense sector experience
  • ISO9001/AS9100 Lead Auditor certification or equivalent training
  • US Government programs and contracts experience a plus
  • FCC regulatory compliance experience a plus
  • Calibrations/Metrology experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally
  • To be considered, candidates must have US citizenship.

Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level.
