S/he is responsible for ensuring that IT projects/programs are aligned with business objectives and is responsible for driving projects/programs to success, ensuring all deliverables are delivered within predefined project scope on schedule within budget. This is not an administrative PM role. S/he must be able to execute and drive project activities at the floor level.Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do: * Work with IT and business leaders to ensure strategic alignment between business strategies and project/program objectives. Define scope, management and execution plan and manage to the plan.
  • Provide full scope of effective project management on all project activities, including stakeholder expectations, project scope and requirements, communications, change, resources, and task execution.
  • Work across all IT and business functional areas, including all IT service vendors, and drive activities to completion.
  • Ensure on time and on budget delivery of all project artifacts and deliverables.
  • Analyze and manage project dependencies, risks, and issues and bring all to resolution within project schedule.
  • Ensure that all IT projects within the program adhere to the highest standards of quality and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Obtain and effectively utilize all project resources.
  • Manage vendor relations and drive vendor deliverables and artifacts.
  • Meet project financial objectives by forecasting, preparing financial updates, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variance, and initiating/executing corrective actions.
  • Effectively report on project progress to all levels, including senior management team, and bring full transparency to all stakeholders.
  • Work with teams across the globe to coordinate and manage resources effectively.
PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE * 12+ years of IT experience managing IT projects with system implementations, including solutioning, architecture design, system development, QA, and resource management.
  • 10+ most recent years hands on experience leading the execution of full end-to-end IT projects and portfolios, using both hybrid and agile methodologies.
  • Large scale project/program management experience driving large cross functional/geographic location teams through execution and delivery.
  • Proven capabilities in IT project financial management.
  • 8+ years with managing vendor project delivery and offshore delivery.
  • Solid experience with implementing/upgrading eCommerce or ERP systems.
REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS: * Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Proficient and working experience with MS Project/SmartSheet, Visio, Jira/Confluence, MS Excel (in depth knowledge of formulas, macros, graphs) and PowerPoint.
  • Working experience in program/project management methodologies, best practices and standards, deliverables and reporting.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities and in-depth analytical skills.
  • Risk/issue management and mitigation, communication management, change management, resource management.
  • Ability (and experience) to lead business case development efforts, including crafting relevant documentation and presentations for Business/Finance review.
  • Solid organization skills to effectively manage/organize project artifacts/deliverables.
  • Working experience with facilitating efficient and effective virtual project team workshops and meetings.
  • Strong vendor management skills.
  • Ability to work, act, and think independently with minimal oversight.
  • Hands on and be willing/capable to perform detailed tasks in addition to providing project directions to the team.
  • Flexible with work assignment. Ability to support project go live or immediate issue/bug/defect resolution during off hours when needed.
  • Experience in DTC and/or Consumer Experience is desired.
  • Ability to serve as a mentor/coach and role model to the project team.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Advanced degree or professional training in IT Project Management and/or Effective Communications are preferred.
  • Certified Scrum Master/Product Owner preferred.
