It offers the flexibility to work from home 1 to 2 days per week and will require occasional travel (10%) to UPMC Somerset, UPMC Bedford & UPMC Western Maryland.Key Responsibilities:· Interpret Financial Data: Analyze and interpret complex financial transactions and events to support strategic decision-making.· Mentorship: Provide functional advice and training to less experienced financial analysts and administrative staff.· Data Analysis: Extract and define relevant financial information to assess past performance and forecast future financial outcomes.· Advanced Reporting: Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.· Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis using data from various financial systems.· Transaction Management: Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).· Cost Studies: Plan and conduct in-depth studies to determine the cost of business activities, and recommend budget adjustments and cost-saving measures.If you have a passion for finance, a talent for mentoring, and a drive to deliver high-impact analysis, this is your opportunity to shine.   • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related business field required.
  • Minimum of three years of related work experience required.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED and five years of related work experience.
  • Microsoft Office spreadsheet application required, and PeopleSoft General Ledger proficiency preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CPA/MBA preferred.
