- Seat guests to evenly distribute seating and balance server seat counts.
- Greet and seat guests promptly, delivering menus.
- Act as a liaison between servers, front door, and management.
- Buss tables, clean menus, and reset as needed.
- Assist with bar backing duties, including restocking supplies, cleaning glassware, changing kegs, replacing alcohol products, and restocking garnishes.
- Ensure guests have necessary items (menu, water, etc.).
- Clear plates, silverware, and glassware efficiently and in a friendly manner.
- Refill water and drinks as needed.
- Answer guest inquiries.
- Check with the manager for special events and menu changes.
- Ensure the restaurant is ready to open before seating guests.
- Maintain a well-equipped and clean host stand.
- Ensure enough wrapped silverware is ready for the day’s business.
- Maintain the sanitizer bucket with a clean rag stored in the liquid.

- High school degree or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old to deliver alcoholic beverages to tables.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Excellent decision making ability and people skills.
- Ability to show self-initiative while working within a team atmosphere
- Bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling & prolonged standing.
- Must be able to stand, kneel, squat, and work in inclement weather in a high alpine environment for long periods of time.
- Eye/hand coordination & visual concentration on equipment.
- Concentrated reading and writing.
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Variation in temperature from hot to cold.
- Non-Peak Days (M-F): 7:30am-4:30pm or 9:30am-5:30pm
- Peak Days (Sa/Sun/Holidays): 6:30am-2:30pm or 9:30am-5:30pm
- This schedule represents an average work week and is subject to change based on guest volume, operational needs, and weather conditions.
- Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $19+ actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
- Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available. Additionally, this position accumulates sick time.
