Payroll Manager Required Experience
  • Multiple years’ experience with multi-state payroll processing
  • Comfortable processing payroll for thousands of employees each pay cycle
  • Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills: must be focused on customer service and satisfaction
Payroll Manager Duties
  • Maintain and process payroll; ensuring accuracy and timeliness while managing direct deposits and live checks. Keep all records and reports for accounting of salary/wages due, accruals, deductions, and other payroll functions.
  • Review timecards and reconcile discrepancy reports to ensure precise attendance tracking and payroll calculations.
  • File Quarterly tax forms with the IRS, including submission of payments, to fulfill tax obligations promptly and accurately.
  • File Quarterly State Unemployment Reports and make payments promptly to comply with state regulations and maintain good standing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned as needed to support the smooth operation of payroll processes and contribute to overall organizational efficiency.
