This position provides the appropriate level of support, training, system maintenance and communication to drive SIOP process. The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for improving inventory accuracy within the process by investigating discrepancies and performing a root cause analysis. This position actively participates in daily management activities, including reporting of performance metrics.Develop and implement material resource plan to enhance product flow, optimize order fulfillment, and minimize inventory investment while consistently meeting customer expectationsAssist in the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality, delivery and cost controlAnalyze and set inventory levels within the region/BU using Supply Chain best practices to meet sales forecastDevelop Available to Promise model and work closely with customer service to communicate capabilities to customer baseInvestigate inventory discrepancies to determine root cause and implement corrective action at the service center and rep warehousesConduct inventory adjustments, as necessary, to align system with actual inventory position within service center and sales rep warehousesMaintain and distribute daily performance reports for key inventory and delivery management metricsCoordinate logistics activities with internal/external customers to meet demand requirements and align delivery expectationsInterface with customers, suppliers, manufacturing facilities, regional service centers and sales rep warehouses to align channel supply with customer demandMinimize excess and obsolete inventory within the regional channel/BUQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field is required5+ years of experience with inventory and data analytics, preferably in a Manufacturing settingAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and AccessExcellent problem resolution skills and a high level of attention to detailExperience with Microsoft Dynamics AX09 or other ERP softwareCertified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferredTotal Rewards and Benefits
