- Our client is a family-owned distributor of millwork, windows, doors, and moldings with decades of experience supporting contractors and buildings. They are known for their strong customer relationships, high-quality product lines, and consistent service.
- They are seeking to add a Territory Sales Representative focused on contractor relationships, project quoting, and solution selling with strong earning potential and direct impact on revenue growth. The Territory Sales Representative (internally titled Outside Contractor Sales Representative) will build relationships with contractors, builders, and homeowners to drive profitable sales of millwork products. The Territory Sales Representative be the face of the company quoting jobs, conducting take-offs, managing bids, and closing deals while ensuring contractors receive the right solutions for their projects.
- Grow revenue by expanding relationships with existing contractor clients.
- Prospect and secure new business through cold calls, referrals, job site visits, and networking.
- Conduct take-offs, prepare bids, quotes, and change orders.
- Present solutions and close sales across product lines: windows, interior/exterior doors, stair parts, molding, and related millwork.
- Achieve monthly sales activity targets and quarterly quotas.
- Represent the company at contractor meetings and industry events.
- Track pipeline activity and use CRM/quoting software for accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with inside sales and operations to deliver top-tier customer service.
- Stay current on construction trends, upcoming subdivisions, and competitor activity.
- 3+ years of outside contractor sales experience (windows, doors, or millwork strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to conduct take-offs and quote construction projects.
- Strong understanding of the contractor sales cycle and building materials industry.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM and quoting/order entry systems.
- Base salary in the 80k - 95k/year range plus commission
