Conduct plan design, data entry, analysis, and provide written summaries of recommendations and next steps
Prepare and develop financial plans tailored to each client's needs
Assist in preparing for client meetings and follow-up on action items
Present professional, comprehensive financial plans to advisors and clients as needed
Demonstrate a solid understanding of personal financial planning concepts and remain current on industry trends and developments
Build and maintain strong relationships with advisors to ensure client satisfaction and encourage continued use of planning services
Identify advisor needs and uncover additional planning opportunities, including high-net-worth services and advanced tax planning strategies
Maintain positive and professional relationships with colleagues and staff members
Adhere to all policies and guidelines outlined in the employee manual
Follow established workflow procedures to minimize exposure to errors and omissions (E&O) claims
Promptly report any actual or potential E&O claims
Communicate proactively with your supervisor or manager to address any issues and ensure excellent client service
Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all client, staff, and firm information
Maintain any professional accreditations required to meet firm standards
Participate in continuing education opportunities as they ariseRequirements:
Bachelor's degree (required)
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation (required)
3+ years of financial services experience developing and presenting comprehensive financial plans
Strong understanding of personal financial planning, including but not limited to retirement, wealth management, risk management, and education planning
Experience with Redtail CRM, and financial planning software such as eMoney and/or Holistiplan (preferred)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Some local travelThis position offers a base salary between $65,000 and $80,000 annually, depending on experience. Additional compensation includes a discretionary, variable annual bonus, a discretionary longevity bonus, and eligibility for merit-based raises. Employees are also eligible to participate in a 401(k) retirement plan with a company match, and may receive ESOP contributions equal to approximately 15% of compensation.
