As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. This position offers the opportunity to utilize your attention to detail and your ability to remain calm under pressure, while also leveraging your comfort with technology and access control systems.   • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, especially within technology, media, and telecommunications settings.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while upholding Allied Universal standards.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain order within the location.
  • Support emergency response protocols as directed by site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
