- Use CAD software to create and refine trailer concepts for customers.
- Review designs and turn them into detailed cost estimates (materials, labor, and shop time).
- Work closely with sales, engineering, and production teams to make sure designs are practical and quotes are accurate.
- Look for ways to save time or material without sacrificing quality.
- Stay current on manufacturing processes.
- Strong CAD skills — you’ll be creating concepts from scratch.
- A good head for numbers and details.
- Familiarity with shop/manufacturing processes (welding, fabrication, assembly) is a big plus.
- Comfortable working with others and communicating clearly.
- Previous cost estimating or manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required if you’re sharp and eager to learn.
