- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s or CPA preferred)
- 8+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience managing accounting teams
- Deep knowledge of standard cost systems, inventory accounting, and variance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills
- Lead and develop a high-performing cost accounting team
- Manage the month-end close process for plant operations (journal entries, reconciliations, and variance reporting)
- Analyze overhead, manufacturing, and inventory variances and prepare purchase price variance reports
- Partner with plant teams for inventory costing, job closures, and physical inventory execution
- Support internal control compliance and drive process improvements
- Coordinate with auditors and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting
- Maintain SOPs to align accounting practices across multiple sites
