- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the plant's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to forecast HR needs and develop workforce plans.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement HR best practices.
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract, select, and onboard top talent.
- Develop sourcing strategies and oversee recruitment processes.
- Ensure compliance with equal employment opportunity (EEO) regulations and diversity initiatives.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and foster a positive work culture.
- Conduct regular employee feedback surveys and analyze results to drive improvements.
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
- Ensure performance management systems are fair, transparent, and aligned with business objectives.
- Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and development programs.
- Monitor training effectiveness and evaluate ROI on development initiatives.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct salary reviews, bench-marking, and analysis to ensure equitable compensation practices.
- Manage employee benefits enrollment, communication, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Stay abreast of changes in legislation and update HR policies and procedures accordingly.
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation to support compliance efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5 years) in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
