City: RichardsonSummaryWe are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Program Manager to lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of a data center construction project featuring liquid-cooled rack systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mission-critical infrastructure, construction project management, and advanced data center cooling technologies.This role requires cross-functional leadership, excellent communication skills, and a sharp understanding of cutting-edge cooling and power systems in hyperscale or high-performance computing environments.Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Program Oversight: Lead the planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of the data center construction project from site selection through commissioning and handover.
- Technology Integration: Coordinate the design and deployment of liquid-cooled rack systems, including collaboration with OEMs, HVAC engineers, and mechanical contractors to ensure successful system implementation.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage contractors, suppliers, engineering firms, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on design specifications, milestones, and deliverables.
- Construction Management: Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, schedule, and safety standards.
- Risk & Compliance: Identify potential risks and establish mitigation strategies. Ensure all work complies with local codes, environmental regulations, and internal standards for high-availability data centers.
- Budget & Cost Control: Track expenditures, manage change orders, and ensure project is completed within approved budget.
- Testing & Commissioning: Lead commissioning activities including system validation, integrated systems testing, and turnover documentation.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to executive leadership, including progress reports, critical path analysis, and issue resolution summaries.
- Eight or more years of relevant experience.
