Recruiting and Training Specialist. (SF Bay Area Applicants Only)

- Measure, analyze and identify effective recruitment sources;
- Plan and implement the overall recruiting strategy for Mollie Stone’s with the VP of HR;
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications;
- Meet and obtain details from the hiring managers for each of the open positions;
- Source and research recruitment avenues for a variety of positions within the grocery industry;
- Act as a point of contact and build influential relationships during the job/company promotion process;
- Post, advertise and maintain any open positions throughout internal and external locations and websites;
- Plan and hold job-fair events representing the Mollie Stone’s brand professionally and positively throughout the SF Bay Area;
- Screen resumes within our Applicant Tracking System (currently JazzHR) and coordinate with the Hiring Manager and HR Generalists to fill positions;
- Initiate screening interview process.
- Research, review and understand the goal of the various training programs, and the stakeholders involved.
- Consolidate, organize, and develop Training Procedure Manual(s) & Programs with guides, course materials, handouts and visual aids, as appropriate for employees at all levels.
- Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as language, in-person or virtual, to optimize training effectiveness and minimize cost.
- Present information with a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as simulations, team exercises, group discussion, videos or lectures.
- Review and track trainings on Mollie Stone’s Markets training platform (currently NGA).
- Coordinate Training with Management and follow up with employees.
- Keep training logs active and follow up with Management and Human Resources Team.
- Monitors training costs and prepares training reports for VP of Human Resources.
- Assess training results and follows-up with employee and Management.
- 3-5 years of Hospitality and Training experience.
- AA degree in Hospitality, Business, Training/Education and Development or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Degree in Hospitality, Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Knowledge of Asian Languages a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to create effective written and spoken communications.
- Excellent project management and organization skills.
- Ability to multitask and adjust to competing priorities.
- Ability to hold self and others accountable for high-quality, timely and effective results.
- Strong ability to cooperate and work collaboratively towards excellence.
