- Support delivery of innovative care in a retail clinic inside Walgreens
- On-the-job training will be provided!
- Starting pay is $21.05/hour

- Provide clinical and administrative support to remote and/or in-person Advanced Practice Clinicians while on site at Advocate/Aurora Clinics at Walgreens
- Complete the patient registration process, which includes documenting patient demographics, processing insurance and copays and scheduling patient appointments in the electronic medical record
- Facilitate waiting room management and patient rooming processes
- Complete vitals and point of care testing on patients
- Monitor supply inventory; order clinical and office supplies
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, APCs, Walgreens store management and ACW leadership in support of patient care delivery
- Responsible for maintaining a safe, professional, and organized clinic environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required within 21 days of start date
- High school Diploma or GED
- Preferred 1-2 years experience in clinical and/or customer service setting
- Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; ability to develop rapport and maintain positive, professional relationships with a variety of patients, staff and clinicians.
- Proficient computer skills including typing, navigation within a windows operating system, use of electronic mail and electronic medical records systems.
- Travel between sites of care- may be requested to work at nearby Advocate/Aurora Clinic at Walgreens sites to fulfill business needs

- The candidate must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies and moving equipment.
- Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine-hand manipulation skills.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
