- Team Leadership & Management:
- Provide administrative and managerial support for all onsite personnel.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for the client's management regarding staffing and scheduling issues.
- Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
- Lead the continuous improvement of operational processes and documentation.
- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure all team procedures and administrative documentation meet client requirements.
- Establish and maintain standards for operational runbooks and playbooks, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and consistent.
- Facilitate training for support engineers to ensure they are proficient in using and contributing to operational documentation.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve runbook and playbook content and processes.
- Technical Escalation:
- Act as a key escalation point for Tier 1 support technicians, providing guidance and resolving complex issues. Participate in an on-call rotation as needed to address critical issues.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, or a related technical field; An Associate's degree with 3 years of related experience or 6 years of related experience might be substituted for a degree.
- 5+ years of experience managing cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- 3+ years of experience with physical/virtual infrastructure, operating systems, or virtualization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
- 2+ years of experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, Peering, Load Balancing, etc.).
- Experience with any of the following GCP solutions: CloudSQL, Google App Engine, GCP networking solutions, or distributed computing technology.
- GCP certification.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Office-based work with extended periods of sedentary activity and occasional movement
- Travel by car or air to attend meetings and conferences as needed
- Frequent communication with colleagues, management, and clients, including presentation delivery and accurate information exchange
