- Collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers to ensure the seamless translation of design concepts into functional, user-friendly interfaces
- Collaborate effectively with our backend teams to improve API designs
- Integrate novel front-end tech into our stack
- Take ownership of significant new features and plan them with meaningful technical document requirements descriptions, design wireframes, and software design diagrams•
- Optimize not just performance but developer experience, CI/CD, and testing
- Be a force for readability and clean coding patterns in our codebase.
- Mentor and collaborate effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional front-end/UI development experience, JavaScript and TypeScript Expert
- Mastery in building UI applications with React
- Competence in at least one set of front-end build tools, bundling, and transpilation
- Competence in at least one set of testing frameworks for unit, integration, and e2e testing (e.g., Jest, Playwright)
- Mastery of CSS, SASS, and experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind, Material-UI, Shadcn
- Experience optimizing performance for real-time React applications
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development
- Experience working with a design/development pipeline
- At least 1+ years with at least one of the following: web-based 3d rendering, data visualization, mapping libraries
- Experience with wireframing/design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch)
