- Supports robust clinical intelligence platform, inclusive of:
- Leadership dashboards
- Stratified population analytics
- Advanced data mining
- Facilitates the transformation of data into information to support key clinical processes including physician, department and hospital performance, population health thread and trends, key performance indicators for program assessment and evaluation
- Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends/patterns in complex data sets; develops reports and presentations to summarize key results
- Ensures data consistency and validity across all utilized clinical reporting platforms
- Aggregates and analyzes data from disparate clinical registry sources
- Effective team leadership
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of information sources. Maintain proper documentation of policies and procedures
- Understanding of clinical/financial concepts to manage department information sources
- Improve and innovate department operations and information quality
- Supports decisions via advanced analytics of statistical, quality, and clinical outcomes emphasis
- Analyzes information to assure optimal management of resources; identifies trends in utilization, quality, and clinical outcomes
- Optimizes data accessibility to users to improve timeliness and accuracy of decision-making; provides training and assistance as needed
- Maintain customer focus and commitment to high customer satisfaction. Ensure that the department always meets deadlines unless extended by leadership
- Review information and prevent the dissemination of incorrect or misleading information to customers.
- Provides analytical support to achieve pay-for-performance targets including CMS Value-Based Purchasing, Hospital-Acquired Conditions, Hospital Readmission Reduction Program, and similar programs with payors
- Collaborates with clinical teams to identify opportunities for resource optimization; applies LEAN methodology
- Assume overall responsibility for one or more department information systems including Midas, Statit, NDNQI, NHSN/Vigilanz, and various Cardiac/Surgical registries.
- Support achievement of specific annual department goals and objectives.

- Advanced knowledge MS Excel

- Knowledge of database structure, design, and reporting
- Advanced clinical analysis and predictive analytics

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced experience with LEAN
- Data mining techniques, data profiling, mapping, analysis, and reporting
- Advanced knowledge of clinical performance and outcome data including CPT/ICD-10 and other code sets, PQRS, HEDIS, IQR & VBP, MSPB
- IT&S Project Management
- Change management
- Epic/Clarity reporting writing, Slicer/Dicer, and Reporting Workbench experience
- Excel BI Tools (Power Query, Power Pivot, Power Maps)
- Skilled in data visualization tools, database management systems, and reporting tools for use in Epic, Oracle, and Midas
- Web technologies such as HTML, XML, or SharePoint
