ABOUT THIS POSITIONThe role of the Print and Financial Services Specialist is to complete client support requests by researching payment reconciliation, transaction, and reporting issues, investigating missing payments, conducting card scanner troubleshooting, and completing other support requests related to Waystar’s Patient Payments solution. This role will also cross-train on supporting the Print Services product by working with customers, vendors, other Waystar departments, and our printing partner.WHAT YOU'LL DOAbility to comprehend Data Dictionaries, file structures and file formatsComplete understanding of the Waystar solutions and how the solutions can be applied to the clients business practicesDirect and manage multiple client projects and facilitate to a timely resolution of projectWhen serving as a project resource, the Specialist is responsible to serve as a liaison between the vendor and Primary Project ManagerProactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans for these changesIdentify and timely resolution of service disruption to the satisfaction of all parties involvedAppropriately escalate incidents that compromise project deliverable to the appropriate personnelTimely execution of task and project deliverablesWith projects where the Specialist is the primary point of contact with the client (serving the role of Project Manager)Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support operational business goalsEffectively communicate project expectations with client, project team members and all involved partiesSet and continually manage project expectations with client and project team membersPlan and schedule project timelines and milestones using operational appropriate toolsMeet project financial objectives to comply with estimated project revenueDemonstrate effective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentVendor relations skills would be a strongly preferredConsistently reliable and account for ones actionsClient and colleague relationship management skillsVerification (quality control) of new merchant accountsWork to achieve and maintain positive working relationships and fluid communication among team members and with other departmentsRemain flexible and willing to assist the customer, by working with our vendors and partners to accommodate changes or special requests whenever possiblePerform other tasks and special projects as assigned by the Financial Services Implementation ManagerPerform other duties and /or projects as assigned by management within the area of responsibility and controlTravel may be requiredWHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • ​ Bachelor's degree is required
  • Medical Practice experience
  • Experience with the implementation of a system software
  • Demonstrated experience in project management
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Serve as a liaison between client and internal project team
  • Ability to adapt to various levels and possess influencing skills at all levels
  • Must be a quick learner and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, be process driven, but must be able to work in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application suite and basic computer functionality
