We're here to serve guests with flavor, energy, and hospitality that's anything but ordinary.Position OverviewWe're seeking a strong, service-forward operator to lead day-to-day execution of both front-of-house operations and the beverage program at Mashup Food Hall. As the Market & Bar Operations Manager, you'll be the go-to leader during service, overseeing the guest experience, FOH team, and bar performance while also coordinating closely with our food vendors and leadership team.This is a high-accountability, hands-on role perfect for someone who thrives on structure, team leadership, and hospitality done right-especially in a multi-concept, high-energy environment.Key ResponsibilitiesBar Program Management
  • Develop, cost, and maintain rotating cocktail, beer, wine, and N/A menus that complement vendor offerings
  • Manage relationships with liquor distributors, breweries, and beverage partners
  • Monitor beverage COGS, pricing, and inventory to ensure profitability
  • Oversee POS accuracy, cash flow, and bar-side reporting via Toast
  • Lead bar prep, stocking, cleaning, and service systems
  • Train and supervise bartenders and runners to uphold standards and efficiency
Daily Operations & Floor Leadership
  • Serve as the on-site manager during peak hours, leading service across the food hall
  • Conduct daily opening and closing walkthroughs; ensure shift logs and checklists are completed
  • Ensure shared spaces (condiment stations, patios, trash zones) are clean, stocked, and guest-ready
  • Address service issues in real time with professionalism and a solution-first mindset
  • Manage ordering of all market inventory and products to ensure the space runs smoothly
Team Oversight & Culture Building
  • Lead and manage FOH staff including bartenders, runners, and bar leads
  • Build team schedules aligned with sales trends, events, and holidays
  • Deliver pre-shift briefings, communicate priorities, and support real-time troubleshooting
  • Coach staff and document performance issues as needed, escalating to GM when necessary
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture
Vendor & Cross-Department Coordination
  • Act as primary liaison between bar, vendors, and FOH team during service
  • Support vendors in resolving delivery, setup, and service issues
  • Coordinate shared resources and event staffing in partnership with the Programming Manager
  • Uphold and enforce guest experience standards hall-wide

Preferred Experience
  • 3–5 years in hospitality management, bar operations, or food hall/casual dining leadership
  • Strong understanding of beverage cost control, inventory, and vendor relationships
  • Experience managing FOH service and staff in a high-volume setting
  • Proven ability to lead both team operations and guest experience with confidence
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and event support
