- Performs expert level maintenance and repair on HVAC systems and equipment at all locations as
maintenance in accordance with applicable building codes and safety regulations * Oversees installation of HVAC equipment and systems to provide enhanced and/or upgraded capabilities
- Monitors repairs on HVAC systems and/or components (e.g., pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, piping, etc.)
- Diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in HVAC systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs
- Tracks performance of routine and preventative maintenance to ensure the availability of HVAC systems
- Informs personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and/or complying with building and safety regulations
- Performs additional duties to include, but not limited to working independently to repair, maintain and assists with the installation of electrical, fire alarm, HVAC, mechanical, refrigeration in accordance with applicable building codes and safety regulations
- Maintains vehicles, tools and equipment serviceability statuses
- Performs additional duties to include, but not limited to working independently to repair, maintain and assists with the installation of electrical, fire alarm, HVAC, mechanical, refrigeration in accordance with applicable building codes and safety regulations
- Locates and identifies building HVAC system malfunctions; troubleshoots and works from blueprints, drawings, and layouts or other specifications
- Creates reports and updates computerized ticketing system with status of work completed
- Uses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards and Jordan’s safety protocols
- Performs building HVAC construction/renovations as needed
- Participates in the acquisition of permits, licenses, and other related documents and ensures they remain current.
- Maintain license update with renewal and keeps up to date with applicable state changes
- Travel to other locations as needed
- Any other function or responsibility as assigned by the Supervisor
- Requires 8+ or more years direct HVAC experience
- Must possess and maintain current Refrigeration Technician License
- Knowledge of Direct Digital Control Systems (DDC) and their components
- Requires a high level skill set and comprehensive knowledge of the operation, maintenance and repair
- Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license to be able to drive to other locations to perform
