Overview:A wonderful family of four in the West Hills area of Los Angeles is seeking a housekeeper to support them 4 days per week, 5-6 hours per day. Their current housekeeper is retiring after 11 years with them! They are flexible on which days as long as they are consistent each week. The day will start at 12 or 1pm. They are seeking someone with solid experience who is looking for a family to be with for many years to come. Responsibilities:
  • All housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning of the bathrooms and ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Regular deep cleaning; window sills, skirting boards, glassware, appliances, etc
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Unboxing deliveries and groceries
  • Errands if the candidate drives
  • Stocking and restocking household products and keeping track of inventory
  • Some babysitting two elementary school age children would be nice to have but NOT required- 1-2 hours at night or occasional times when parents take the older one somewhere
Qualifications:
  • Detail oriented
  • Proactive, with an ownership mentality
  • Warm and kind, outgoing, family oriented, friendly, polite
  • Excellent communication
  • Family-friendly - this is not a childcare position, but there are two children in the home and the candidate should feel comfortable working around them
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in high-end homes
  • Seeking a long-term commitment
  • Legal to work in the US
  • Own transportation to and from West Hills
Salary and Benefits:$35-42 per hour plus standard benefits
