- What you’ll do as a Principal Program Manager
- Manage IDIQ and program task orders.
- Conduct program management activities including scheduling, budgeting, planning, monitoring, technical oversight, and customer communications.
- Conduct business development activities including customer engagements, proposals, marketing, briefings, and strategic planning in areas focused on missile defense, space, systems engineering, and nuclear weapon effects.
- Develop marketing plans, strategies, and execute those plans. Report progress on plans and strategies.
- Conduct/recommend M&S, analysis, and evaluation of missile defense systems, components, and concepts.
- Present technical briefings, findings, requirements, analysis, and recommendations. Prepare and review technical documentation.
- Assist and support development of software applications and models in missile defense, space, nuclear weapon effects, survivability, and M&S.
- Support software planning, development, testing, deployment, and usage.
- Work directly with our customers, other contractors, and other ARA teams to conduct business development activities.
- Principal Program Manager Requirements
- Bachelor's in physics or engineering with a minimum of 12 years of experience or a master’s with 10 years of experience or a PhD with 8 years of experience.
- US citizen with an active secret or top-secret DoD security clearance (or equivalent DOE clearance).
- Demonstrated experience in missile defense, space and nuclear weapon effects and nuclear survivability.
- Experience in M&S, software development processes, and system analysis.
- Experience with developing marketing briefings, presentations, plans, and strategies.
- Strong communication skills.
- Outstanding presentation skills.
- Willing to travel.
- Principal Scientist Preferred Qualifications
- MS in Physics or Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of work experience or PHD in Physics or Engineering with 8 years of work experience.
