- Follow SCS health and safety protocols.
- Conduct site visits and performing environmental monitoring.
- Perform CAD drafting (AutoCAD and Civil3D) and/or coordinate with CAD drafters to provide design plans and figures.
- Assist with design and permitting of solid waste and electric utility facilities.
- Prepare permit applications and perform regulatory agency coordination.
- Prepare calculations for reports and in support of design documents.
- Review technical documents for completeness and conformance to requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, bid documents, and health & safety plans.
- Communicate with clients for field work coordination, project updates, reporting, design document status, permitting status, and meetings.
- Conduct and document construction quality assurance (CQA) observations for compliance with construction documents.
- Prepare proposals and cost estimates.
- Research technical data and regulations.
- Participate in health and safety training.
- Bachelor of science degree in civil, environmental, geological or geotechnical engineering required.
- Minimum of 3 months of relevant environmental and/or engineering internship, work and/or research experience required.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is a plus.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and lift/carry up to 50 pounds required.
- Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.
