Afterschool Nanny Needed – Edgebrook, ChicagoA kind and welcoming family in the Edgebrook neighborhood is seeking a reliable, compassionate afterschool nanny for their two bright and funny children, ages 10 and 13. Care is needed Monday–Thursday from 2:45–6:45 PM, but can be flexible for the right candidate. Looking to have someone start ASAP, and continuing through the school year until early June 2026.Responsibilities include:School pickup (less than 10 minutes away) family has a vehicle you can useAfternoon routine including snack, homework help, playtime, and dinnerDriving the children to occasional afterschool activitiesHeating and serving prepared meals (due to severe food allergies in the home – no cooking required)Offering fun and engaging interaction, especially with the 10-year-old who enjoys playtime after schoolThe family lives in a safe, walkable neighborhood and also has a friendly cat in the home.
