Building Automated Controls Technician

- Installation of building automation system communications infrastructure, controllers, & ancillary devices on smaller retrofit projects
- Implement databases, controls sequences, programs, and graphics for new construction and retrofit projects
- Confirm implementation meets project specifications
- Commission controls installation and verifies that control sequences meet specifications
- Complete commissioning reports as proof of controls verification
- Document installations for as-built control drawings
- Organize and demonstrate required BAS project sequences to meet commissioning agents' requirements
- Represent the company by serving as direct customer contact during projects
- 3+ years of field experience in the HVAC controls industry
- Technical, hands-on experience with commissioning and programming of DDC controls
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment
- The ability to communicate technical material to a nontechnical audience
- Proficiency with writing code for controller sequence of operations
- Proficiency with integration protocols (BACnet, Lonworks, Modbus, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Customer-focused, results-oriented professional, and strong team player
- Ability to bend & install conduit
- Niagara 4 certified
- Distech Controls experience a plus
